Zack Jawish is a firefighter/paramedic with the North Charleston Fire Department where serves as a TECC instructor, recruit school instructor and physical training instructor. He specializes in engine company operations and is a basic tactical medical instructor. He started in the fire service as a volunteer firefighter in California working wildland and structural firefighting.
Zack spent six years in the military as a Fire Direction Specialist and Combat Engineer including a year-long deployment as a Route Clearing Specialist in RC East in Afghanistan where he was a Husky operator and Roller Vehicle Commander.
Zack believes that we should learn something new every day and constantly pursue new and better ways to be proficient in your trade.
